we used multiple tools, Some of the tools some of the tools we used used were : secure eraser, wondershare recoverit, Ontrack Easy Recovery, Paragon disk remover, and we also used the built in windows utility as well as the mac disk utility called erase. We used these tool and compared the different types of data that could be recovered after the fact.
